Window Replacements: Except for the large front windows, all the windows will be replaced. The new windows will be constructed using vinyl and metal. They will be the same size as the current windows, will open and will have internal mullions so they will look the same as any original windows.

Balconies: Balconies will be supported by posts, have hemlock flooring and clear glass side panels. A 12 light door will go in the space currently occupied by one double window. Above the door will be a transom window extending to the height of the other windows in the unit.

Heat Pumps: The old central heating system will be replaced with a separate heat pump for each unit, plus backup electric baseboard heat. Each unit will have a separate utility bill so that condo residents will not be paying for heat which they are not using. Each unit will have a 40-gallon hot water heater located within their unit.

Bathroom Tub/Shower: Each bathroom will have a moulded tub/shower combination. This can be replaced by a 5-foot step in moulded shower or by moulded showers units of various sizes. Tiled showers are various available at an additional cost however, “Loft Condos” 202 and 205 will have quartz tiled showers with glass doors and quartz tiling surrounding the tubs as a standard feature.

Interior Doors: All doors are solid wood and not hollow core. A variety of choices are available including original doors from the school, 5 paneled glass doors and solid panelled doors. Owners could also select double pocket doors or French doors.

Kitchen Cabinets: Cabinets have a 2 Pac enamel, which is a heavy-duty cover used on cars. It will not chip or off-gas. Owners have the choice of 5 colors or any combination of the 5 colors for their kitchen cabinets and kitchen island. All countertops are covered with a high-quality quartz.

Bathroom Cabinets and Closets: Bathroom vanity cabinets are white in color and made of the same material as the kitchen cabinets. All closet and regular doors throughout are white.

  • Cabinets have a flat panel durable, washable baked enamel finish with soft close Blum hardware.
  • 5 cabinet colours and color combinations are available: white, grey, black, cream and cappuccino.
  • The kitchen features quartz countertops with a solid colour 1 piece glass backsplash.
  • The double sized, stainless steel square sinks have a “Nori” pull-down kitchen faucet, stainless steel finish and a single lever handle for easy adjustment of water flow.
  • The Frigidaire Stainless Steel appliance set includes: over the range microwave oven, refrigerator, convection oven with ceramic cook to and ENERGY STAR® rated dishwasher. Appliance upgrades are available.
  • Units also have a matching kitchen island with quartz countertop and 9 built-in drawers.
