The condos are priced much lower than one would expect for a brand new condo. This is due to the fact that the town is providing the property and there is a lot of structure in the school that will be saved. This of course lowers the total cost of development and everyone who buys will be able to take advantage of this opportunity. If you compare the prices we have listed to new developments elsewhere in the province, you will see how competitive our prices are.
The prices range from $79,000 for the smallest condo to the largest loft condo valued at $293,000.
These fees would be approximately 20 cents per square foot and as an example, a 814 square foot condo would have fees of $163 per month. These fees will include your snow removal, building management, gardening and lawn maintenance, building insurance and reserve fund. They will not include personal condominium insurance or your residential property tax which is set at $1.65/100 of assessed value. As an incentive, the developer will pay all condo fees for the first 6 months for anyone who purchases a unit before construction begins.
Deposits are typically 5% of the purchase price and will be collected at contract signing with your Real Estate Agent or representative.
